On your visit to Neepawa, step back in time by taking a tour through Neepawa’s Beautiful Plains Museum! This “must see” attraction was established in 1976, and was relocated from Viscount School ( no longer standing) to the CNR Station. This Heritage Railway Station was built 1902 and has been home to the museum since 1981.
The Beautiful Plains Museum was created as a tribute to our forefathers, in honor of their fortitude and courage. Take a self guided tour throughout three floors of collected artifacts that provides a detailed history of the town and area. Enjoy the various theme rooms you will see such as a general store, medical hall, log cabin, chapel and much more.
The museum is open from Victoria Day to Labour Day.
