The Bird Sanctuary has become a popular resident and tourist destination. Nestled on the South of Town by Park Lake, the sanctuary is home to emu’s, pheasants, peacocks, ducks, geese, rabbits and other animals. The facility is operated by volunteers. Our purpose is to provide the birds with a natural facility that advocates the conservation of various species of birds in their natural habitats while promoting survival and rehabilitation.
